Support for Maratha Morcha
The Maratha Morcha refers to a series of silent protests organized by the Maratha community in Maharashtra, India, primarily demanding reservation in education and government jobs under the OBC category. These protests began in 2016 after the Kopardi rape case and gained massive public support. The movement was largely peaceful, with millions participating in disciplined marches across various cities. Over time, it also raised issues like farmers’ rights, unemployment, and amendments to the SC/ST Atrocities Act. The Maharashtra government responded by granting 16% reservation to Marathas under the SEBC (Socially and Economically Backward Class) category, though legal challenges followed.
Social Awareness for people
Social awareness is essential for people to understand and address issues like inequality, environmental protection, and human rights. It helps individuals make informed decisions that contribute to the well-being of society. Awareness promotes empathy, tolerance, and unity, reducing discrimination and social conflicts. Educated and aware citizens can drive positive change by participating in social reforms and governance. Ultimately, social awareness leads to a more just, responsible, and progressive society
